Just showed up in my Facebook feed. Has Ford released other photos of an undisguised next-gen Explorer, or are these the first?

Rear wheel drive and the possibility of 450 hp and 600 ft-lbs of torque, call me interested.

Man that is an ugly thing. Looks like the old edge before the edge got kinda of good looking

No RWD.
That car now puts out 400-horsepower and 416 lb.-ft. of torque. Like the hybrid model, power is sent to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic.

That’s the police model.
The 2020 Explorer civilian model will be available in RWD or AWD.

Ive noticed the cop ones rarely have headlights on during the day. Civilians usually seem to leave there’s on auto.

I actually like it...slightly boxier than before and the specs make up for any deficiencies in the looks imo

Not so here in Indiana tho. MI has a habit turning on their lights during the day (me too).
Indiana is far worse when it comes to stealthy cops tbh, in MI all the unmarked cars have steelies. Here, 50% of them have nice alloys. Plus, we don't have the concept of a X plate.

A lot of departments wised up to the xmt plates being a giveaway.
